Dear Friends,

Thank you all, so much, for your help in getting this far with the Green Congressional campaign for Congress in CA District 1. As you all know, I'm on the ballot, and only had to pay $44 for 4 missing signatures. There were teams collecting in Arcata, Eureka, Redway, Ukiah, Ft. Bragg, Mendocino, Pt. Arena, and Davis! You all got over 200 signatures, and 146 were of valid registered Green voters.

The good news is that I am the only Green on the ballot, so there won't be a primary battle. Pam E. didn't get enough nominating signatures, which will allow us to take a longer view and focus on winning in November.

The next big push is fundraising and publicity. We are working on the former with a plan to contact previous large donors, and phone bank to thousands of potential donors. The campaign has been blessed with an offer to do this work, using the voter data base for District 1, by experienced, dedicated people- Greg Bourget and Brian Vandervisser. The latter is currently managing Estelle Paley's run for Mendocino County supervisor.

We are also planning a series of fundraising events, to raise money and create awareness of my candidacy in the communties of District 1. The first will take place at the Caspar Community Center on April 25th. Thank you DJ Sister Yasmin and Chris Skyhawk, for organizing this event.

I'll be attending the CA State Green meeting in Berkeley April 7-8, with Dana Silvernale. The following weekend I'll be tabling and speaking at the farmer's market in Davis.

Interviews have been set up for articles in the Advocate-News, Beacon, and Eureka Times- Standard. The website www.carolwolmanforcongress.com is continually updated, and there are several short videos on my youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/carolwolman A longer video is in preparation, and will be ready for the Caspar event.

Donations are coming in steadily, and as the pace quickens, so will the money flow. We'll be making buttons, T-shirts, lawn signs pretty soon.

I continue to work with other candidates around the country, and build coalitions across party lines.
